Guoste Tamulynaite - the musician and composer of River Being -- is an Oslo-based pianist and composer, educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music. She has a bachelor's degree in classical performing piano, and completed a project-based master's degree in the summer of 2016 devoted to improvisation, composition and exploring alternative ways of playing. Guoste has composed and performed music for a number of music, theater and dance productions, which have toured both in Norway and Europe. The projects involve Flakkande Røynd (choreography by Rannei Grenne and Solveig Styve Holte, music by Anja Lauvdal and Heida Johannesdottir) and STATE (choreography by Ingri Fiksdal, music by Lasse Marhaug). Guoste's best river memories are from Valldøla in Møre and Romsdal.
