INGVILD MARSTEIN OLSEN
Ingvild Marstein Olsen is a Norwegian dance artist, a performer and choreographer. Recently based in Oslo, she works in Norway and also across the European dance scene. Ingvild has created the work ØKOHELTER with the collective STICKY, a children's performance about the forest ecosystems. She has also created the multimedia work SMACK (co-choreographed with Stierli, Edginton), which has successfully toured to Edinburgh Fringe amongst other European dance spaces. Between 2016 and 2019 Ingvild created two solo works In Series and En som lytter. Alongside, Ingvild has worked with Panta Rei Danseteater (2019) in the multiple roles of performer, choreographer, and coordinator. She has performed in works, both outdoors, in galleries and on stage for choreographers such as; Katrine Kirsebom, Rahel Vonmoos, Alison Curtis-Jones and Theo Clinkard. Ingvild graduated from Laban with a MA in Dance Performance (Transitions Dance Company) and BA in Contemporary Dance.
Ingvild’s most memorable river is from her childhood summers along the mouth of river Rauma in Åndalsnes.
